RETREADING – Miles Ahead in Mileage |

THE NEED: All tires prey to wear and tear. Some to lesser extent, others more. In
either case tires can be redeemed. As
long as the tire casing is intact, which is about 75% of the entire tire,
retreading is possible. The tire
regains its initial condition as a result and is ready for use. RETREADING PROCESS: There are several kinds of
retreading processes available today.
The traditional Hot process of the mould cure retreading method (Hot Process) is one. But technological developments have
rendered, this method obsolete.
Instead, the COLD PROCESS retreading method with Pre-Cured tread, enables
tires to have more life span and give more mileage. It is also suitable for all types of tires. PRE-CURED RETREADING PROCESS: This process entails
Building and Curing. The top surface
of casing is buffed. A fast cure
cushion gum is applied on the surface of the tire after cementing with
Vulcanising Solution. Pre-cured Tread,
matching to the tire is fixed on it.
The tire is then wrapped in a thin rubber envelope. Bonding is carried out in a Bonder while
